What are College Confident's Services?

Senior College Completion Package:

  • College Confident will be delivered as an after school program for 12th grade students and can accommodate 80—120 students
  • CC directors along with two professionally trained high school alumni will guide and instruct students in the college application process
    • Accredited course equals 50 hours of completed coursework per semester
    • After school, 2 times per week, 2 hours per session

[*Angela Stewart, a licensed teacher and guidance counselor, can issue Senior College Completion Package as a credit bearing elective course after school twice a week, for 2 hours each session]

Senior College Completion Package Includes:

  • Online and paper applications
    • All students receive CUNY and SUNY Application submission and private school application submission 3—5 schools
    • Top third of class and other identified students will apply to 10—20 private colleges through the Common Application

Fall Semester

  • 2-4 college trips
  • SAT Registration (register by Oct 1st for Nov SAT)
  • ACT Registration (register by Oct 1st for Nov test)
  • Assist TOEFL test registration for ESL students
  • CUNY Application Submission to 6 CUNY schools (Oct 15th)
  • SUNY Application Submission to 4 SUNY schools (fee waivers provided), Nov. 1st
  • SUNY Supplemental Application, Nov. 20th
  • Common Application for private schools (20 schools/student)
  • Submit all applications by December 20th
