ghostwreck.com
band website
ghostwreck asked for a website that temporarily has hidden content that is only accessible via direct links vs a fully functional website. they currently use the home/splash page as a hub for social media and it also features either a new music videos or album artwork.
the hidden site content is mainly used for press kits (shown in the additional images section below) for new releases and event information, but will be shared with the public in the future.
with the release of their first EP, i helped them with album artwork and i helped design their font/logo that's still reused throughout their media.

(2023/RETIRED SITE) business owner flavio wanted to restore his expired domain/website. with this version, we updated and refreshed the theme, while keeping the core logo's colours, and made sure we were following better standards for web accessibility. his site also offers a direct way to for clients to book services online, for his luxury transportation services.

(2021/RETIRED SITE) gate 6 fam is a baseball camaraderie organization that needed a hub for their youtube channel, merch and blog to keep their members updated. i set everything up on wordpress so they could easily edit and add content.

(2020/RETIRED THEME) when i first came across sara (ALSO A QUEENS GAL!!!), i was a potential customer looking to purchase her book Iphigenia Murphy. when i first got to her website, i saw there were no links to purchase the book throughout the site, no title pages, etc.
as a web developer, i kept making mental notes, and then i decided to cold call email her about the improvements that i thought could be made. i was worried that other people were running into the same issues, so i figured i could come up with a better conversion and content flow solution, especially for book purchases.
sara didn't want to stray away from her website theme, so just i did a simple site style refresh. she wanted the front page to be the blog page, so i added a fully functional sidebar and added some content call to actions - including buy buttons for a "latest book" slot.
i also restructured the navigation for better flow, and i created a book page with detail pages for her existing books (with MORE easy to find buy buttons). i hope these small changes will help her in selling more books!

(2019) kelly came to me with a support email recently. her website was broken by another developer and needed help. under the hood, there were a lot of modifications that didn't translate well with other plugins that existed, default wordpress settings weren't set, no precautions were taken for existing content when a new method for editing was launched, etc. - so she trusted me to fix the issues and i made content control better for her as well.
in addition to fixing those elements, i also finally got to bring kelly's site over to responsive design. when i initially built her site back in 2012, that wasn't a requirement yet and she had turned her site over to another developer by the time i asked if i could apply it.

(2019/RETIRED SITE) stephen eng is a world traveler, entrepreneur, philanthropist and massive sports fan. he has a travel instagram that he wanted to expand on, and i wanted to create an easy way for him to update his adventures. having worked on one of his other sites, he trusted me to build this hub for him. i can't wait to see what the future brings when the site expands.

hockey camaraderie organization
(2018/RETIRED SITE) the covenant of blue is a new york rangers fan camaraderie organization here in NYC. they were looking for a website theme refresh, and after logging in, i wanted to give them a more consolidated/easier way of maintaining all of their content. i reworked their backend admin to utilize a better content management experience alongside their existing wordpress website and i gave them a more modern look.

jes is a graffiti artist that dabbled in a clothing brand, accessories, art, radio hosting and who loved sharing her life/findings on her website. she employed myself and a few of our friends to also contribute to her website. fun stuff, gross stuff, rad stuff, funny stuff, stuff to do around NYC, etc.

(2016) dolce amore was referred to me by a former coworker. the server their website existed with their hosting company had automatically upgraded and completely broke their website. i quickly restored their website from a broken joomla install to a WordPress conversion (slight structure changes by me for consistency). i also gave them responsive functionality which wasn't in place prior to my work. the client was eventually going to change over to new branding, this was an interim fix.

(2007-2015) rachel had been a customer of mine for nearly a decade. first as a custom work customer (website maintenance), but eventually i convinced her to convert her static website to wordpress. i wanted her to be able to have the control and freedom to update her site as often as she’d like to, and there was also a slight site redesign during that process. eventually we also applied responsive design for google's approval.
